Janesville rolls by Dunkerton 57-20

In eight player football, Janesville hosted arch rival Dunkerton.

The Wildcats struck first.  Hunter Meyer stiff armed a defender and scored on a 32 yard QB keeper for a 7-0 lead.  Janesville would score again after a Dunkerton fumble.  Meyer sneaks it in from the 1.  The Wildcats missed the extra point but took a 13-0 lead.

The Red Raiders would keep it close early.  Dillon Anderson finds Jason Bedard in the end zone to cut the lead to 13-7.  But the Wildcats just kept coming.  In the second quarter, Meyer connected twice with Chris Bright from 25 yards and 20 yards to go up 27-7.  Meyer would score again on a 30 yard run for a 34-7 lead.

Dunkerton kept fighting, finding the end zone on a 6 yard pass from Anderson to Lane Johnson.  But the Wildcats would go into halftime up 41-14 after a 43 yard pass from Meyer to Chris Grimelli.

Janesville wins big - 57 to 20.
