Iowa City West handles Dubuque Senior 42-7 in battle of unbeatens

Iowa City West has had no problem airing the ball out. The Trojans now know they can run the ball effectively as well.

Ezra Reiners ran for three of the six rushing touchdowns, as West went on to beat Dubuque Senior 42-7 in the battle of unbeatens.

West came out sharp.  Michah Kelsay capped off the opening drive with a 3 yard blast to the end zone making it 7-0.

After a fake punt later in the quarter, Kelsay again scored for West, this time from a yard out to make it 14-0.

Then senior Ezra Reiners took over, rushing for 42, and 4 yard touchdowns before halftime, and one more in the third quarter.

Dubuque Senior scored late in the fourth quarter on an Alex Duster touchdown.
