A Dubuque man faces an attempted murder charge after a stabbing

A Dubuque man is in jail after allegedly stabbing another man in the neck Thursday night.

Police say the stabbing happened following a disturbance in a vehicle near the Asbury Road and Cherry Street intersection.

Steven Gallaher was taken to the hospital—and later released.

Jesse Kramer was taken into custody on charges for attempted murder and willful injury.
