CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -
The Cedar Rapids Police Department has released the name of a man found dead in a yard between two houses on Thursday morning.
Sergeant Cristy Hamblin says they received a call of a body in a yard at around 7:16 a.m.
Hamblin says that officers found 25-year-old James Tamayo dead in the yard between 416 and 420 6th Street SW.
Hamblin says there were no signs of trauma, but it is being investigated as a suspicious death due to the age of the victim.
The medical examiner's office has requested an autopsy as part of this investigation.
