Iowa State University announced on Tuesday that the University of Northern Iowa football team will travel to Ames seven times in the next 11 years.
In the agreement, UNI will travel to Jack Trice Stadium to take on the Cyclones in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023.
"We are excited to extend our contract with UNI because our games have been some of the best attended contests in Jack Trice Stadium history," said Iowa State Athletics Director Jamie Pollard. "Our fans have enjoyed this intrastate series."
Iowa State and UNI have met 27 times since 1899. The last meeting between the two teams was in 2011. Iowa State leads the series, 20-4-3.
