FedEx drivers injured in I-80 crash

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Two FedEx drivers were injured on Monday afternoon after their truck left I-80 in Iowa City and ended up in some trees.

The Iowa State Patrol says the truck was headed east on I-80 when the driver lost control.  The truck went into the ditch and hit some trees.

The driver and co-driver were both injured and taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Their names have not been released.

The accident remains under investigation.
