Man last seen on Amtrak train that runs through Iowa

CHICAGO (KWWL) -

Family and friends are looking for a missing man who was last seen on an Amtrak train that runs through Iowa.

Charles Dowd, 69, was traveling from California to Chicago, but when his train arrived on Friday, Dowd was no where to be found.

Dowd's family last heard from him when the train was near Denver, Colorado.

Some witnesses believe they saw him near Omaha, Nebraska and appeared to be confused.

If you have any information that could help locate Dowd, please contact police.
