Driver airlifted to hospital after crash

On Sunday afternoon, Robert Hansen of Antioch, Illinois was taken to the University of Iowa Hospital after a vehicle collision on Highway 20.

Hansen, driving a motorcycle, was traveling eastbound on the inside lane of Highway 20, near 330th Avenue, when he struck the rear of a grain trailer, which was being towed by a tractor driven by Robert March of New Vienna.

Hansen was thrown from his motorcycle, and came to rest on the south shoulder of the highway.

Hansen was airlifted from the scene to the University of Iowa Hospital.

There has been no update on the condition of Hansen.
