NCC Fair wraps up with strong attendance numbers

The 2012 National Cattle Congress Fair wrapped up Sunday with another strong day of attendance.

Sunday's events included pig-races, dog shows, and a rodeo.

Fair officials are still tabulating final attendance numbers, but they are positive that it's higher than last year.

"A lot of improvements I think from last year. Last year was a great fair. But we had a lot more livestock, bigger livestock events this year. Our dairy show was about three times larger than it was last year," said Larry Gaffey, NCC General Manager.

Gaffey says the fair may be over Sunday but planning for next year's fair begins Monday.
