Hawkeyes beat UNI Panthers

Northern Iowa fans who watched their team come within a whisker of beating nationally-ranked Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago thought the Panthers had a good chance of beating Iowa for the first time in over 100 years. But, despite a valiant effort, the Hawkeyes knocked off UNI Saturday afternoon in Iowa City. The final score: 27-16.

The game was played in front of a capacity crowd at jam-packed Kinnick Stadium.
