Ten stars rise in Dubuque over breakfast

DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

At a ceremony Wednesday morning, 10 of Dubuque's up-and-coming professionals got some special recognition.

KWWL's coverage partner the Telegraph Herald presented the 10th annual Rising Star awards.

This honor recognizes outstanding individuals every year in the business community under the age of 40.

The winners are nominated by readers of the Telegraph Herald and its publication Biz Times. A panel selects the final recipients.

This year, the honorees are:

* Joey Anderson, Mystique;

* Scott Goins, Goins Insurance;

* Danielle Gratton, Dupaco Community Credit Union;

* Susan Hess, Hammer, Simon & Jensen law firm;

* Marty Maiers, Diamond Jo Casino;

* Nicole Pfeiffer, Cottingham & Butler;

* Tom Rauen, Envision Screen Printing and Embroidery;

* Sarah Reicks, Dubuque Bank & Trust;

* Erin Sell, Medical Associates Clinic;

* Christopher Welch, Blair & Fitzsimmons law firm.
