One person arrested after Monticello stabbing

One man was arrested after an alleged stabbing in Monticello Monday night.

Josh Meyer faces charges of willful injury and armed with intent after accusations that he stabbed another man at Northside Tavern.

Jones County Attorney Phil Parsons says that the stabbing happened at roughly 8:30 p.m.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, but his condition has not been made public.
