CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

The Cedar Rapids Fire Department raised over $30,000 this past weekend to help give scholarships to children of fallen and wounded Iowa military members.

The 3rd Annual Fire Bowl, a flag football tournament held on Sunday at Coe College's Clark Field, recognized the sacrifices and accomplishments of those that have proudly served our country.

The CRFD raised $33,454 for the Folds of Honor Foundation through good-will donations, raffle ticket and T-shirt sales.

The "Remembering Our Fallen" memorial wall was on display at the event to honor the sacrifices of the 85 men and women from Iowa that have died since September 11, 2001.
