CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Linn County authorities have found an inmate that went missing after he left a Cedar Rapids hospital earlier this month.

Timothy Hill Jr., 26, was taken to Mercy Medical Center on September 9 for overnight medical attention.

Just before 10:30 that night, hospital staff reported to authorities that Hill had left the hospital.

Lieutenant Kent Steenblock says that Hill was found on Monday morning at 1212 8th Street NW after getting information that he was staying at that address.

Hill has been taken back to the Linn County Jail and now faces escape charges.

Hill was originally in jail facing driving while barred, possession of drug paraphernalia, and providing false identification charges.
