CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -
Fresh off their near upset of Wisconsin, UNI took out all their frustration on Division II Central State, hammering the Marauders 59-0.
Sawyer Kollmorgen threw for 229 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Panther victory. On the ground, UNI freshman Austin Ebertowski emerged as another threat behind Carlos Anderson and David Johnson. Ebertowski led UNI with 92 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns.
Defensively, UNI dominated Central State. The Panthers held the Marauders to just 10 yards of offense in the first half and 109 total for the game. UNI's Zach Cutkomp scored on a second quarter interception return. Special teams came up big as well as Jalen Barnes took a fumbled kick return to the house.
UNI moves on to face in-state rival Iowa next Saturday in Iowa City.
