WEST DES MOINES (KWWL) -

Wednesday marks 30 years since Johnny Gosch disappeared from his West Des Moines neighborhood.

Gosch was 12-year-old when he disappeared while delivering papers in his West Des Moines neighborhood on September 5, 1982.

According to the 1982 police report, a man threw Gosch into a car and sped away.

Noreen Gosch, Johnny's mother, suspects her son was a victim of a child trafficking network, taken for the purpose of satisfying pedophiles.  Police have not proven that.
