Classic cars rolled down University Avenue in Waterloo and Cedar Falls Sunday evening. It was part of the University Ave. cruise. From fine tuned classics to modern day muscle cars, there were dozens of classic vehicles on display. People could get an up-close look at the cars before they headed out.
"I don't get it out very much, and this is a great night to get it out and cruise University Avenue. Been doing that since I was old enough to drive," says car owner Keith Larson.
This was the 6th year for the University Ave. cruise.
It is quickly becoming a Labor Day weekend tradition in the Cedar Valley - similar to the 4th Street Cruise every Memorial Day weekend through downtown Waterloo.
