Thieves target unlocked cars in Waterloo neighborhood

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo police are investigating after reports of car vandalism overnight Thursday.

It happened in the area of Russell Road and Martin Road.

 Police say someone looked through dozens of cars, targeting unlocked vehicles.
Other vehicles that were locked had some damage.

Police questioned people in the area looking for information.  
Police reportedly have detained two people suspected and are looking for a third person.
