The court date is set for a man accused of aiding a double murder

MANCHESTER (KWWL) -

He's accused of suggesting killing methods to a Manchester teenager who allegedly followed through with the murder, now a court date is set for 20-year-old Brandon Ahlers.

Ahlers is charged with aiding and abetting in the death of Richard and Janet Sweet.

Richard and Janet Sweet were allegedly shot and killed by their grandson, 17-year-old Isaiah Sweet.

Police believe Ahlers also tried to dispose of the gun police believe was used in the murder.

Ahlers trial is set for November 14.

Sweet will be tried for two counts of first degree murder a week before November 7.
