New York Giants defensive back Tyler Sash couldn't get his suspension reduced. The former Iowa Hawkeye met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday hoping to appeal his 4 game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs.
Sash said the test, conducted in March, came back positive because of his Adderall prescription. Adderall is not banned by the NFL, but players must get a Therapeutic Use Exemption prior to using it. Sash says he failed to file the necessary paperwork.
Sash will also have to find a new place to keep in football shape as he's banned from using Giants' facilities during the suspension.
