In the end, Vince Hinostroza and Eamon McAdam's heroics saved the day as the Black Hawks defeated Linkopings of Sweden to advance to the final of the Junior Club World Cup.

With Waterloo trailing 4-3 late in the 3rd period, Hinostroza scored the equalizer with just 1.7 seconds remaining on the clock.  The Black Hawk forward then scored twice in a four round shootout as McAdam made the final save pushing the team in to the finals.

That ended a wild game that saw Waterloo take a 3-0 advantage in to the third after second period goals by Jake Horton, Justin Kloos, and Kyle Schmidt.  Linkopings responded scoring 4 unanswered goals in the final period, capped by Joakim Erdugan's goal with 9:45 left putting Waterloo behind for the first time in the game.  Then came Hinostroza's heroics.

The victory sent Waterloo to the Cup final against the Sudbury Wolves (Canada).  Game time is set for 7:00 AM Iowa time on Sunday.
