BENTON COUNTY (KWWL) -

A former director of the Benton County Conservation Department faces fraud accusations.

State auditors say William Heber charged more than $2,700 worth of fuel for his personal truck to the county.

Heber told investigators the truck provided by the county had mechanical problems so he drove his own for work.

Heber was fired in November 2011.
