Rural Charles City man dies in ATV accident

An 80-year-old man from rural Charles City died Sunday night in an ATV accident.

The Floyd County Sheriff's Office says 80-year-old Philip Jensen died after he lost control of his ATV in a pasture in the 2700 block of 260th Street.  Sheriff Rick Lynch says the ATV rolled and pinned Jensen underneath.

Lynch says a friend found Jensen at around 8:45 p.m.

Jensen was pronounced dead at the scene.
