CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

From big booms to working old-time farm equipment, there's lots to see this weekend at Antique Acres in Cedar Falls.

"Just gives everybody a chance to step back in time and see how the old boys used to make a living," said Antique Acres President Larry Burman.

This is the 48th Annual Antique Acres Old Time Powershow.

"Our mission is preserving the past for the future, and that's what we're trying to do here," said Burman.

This year's featured tractor is Case with more than 100 Case tractors on display. You can also see old ammonia compressors from Rath Packing in Waterloo.

"It looks like new, but it's 100 years old because it's a labor of love for these guys to take this machinery that does not operate, totally rebuild it from inside to out and turn it loose," said Burman.

Antique Acres is open Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $6. Antique Acres President Larry Burman expects more than 5000 people to visit.

"It gives the people that are 70 plus a chance to show the grandkids how I grew up and what I did and where I stood. It's interesting. I think it brings generations together," said Burman.

Antique Acres is located on Waverly Road, off Highway 218.
