House in Hazelton destroyed by fire

A house in Buchanan County is a complete loss after a fire Thursday night in Hazelton.

Firefighters were called to 109 South Monroe Street around 7:45 p.m.

No one was home at the time. The fire was reported by a boy riding by on his bike.

Crews say the fire was started by a halogen lamp.
