Strong third period lifts Black Hawks to win over Red Army

A three-goal third period lifted to Waterloo Black Hawks to a 5-2 win over Red Army in an exhibition game in Moscow, Russia.

After going down 1-0 with 7:47 left in the first period, Vince Hinostroza tied the game at one just 40 seconds later.

The Black Hawks then took a 2-1 lead when Taylor Camarratta scored a power play goal with 1:57 left in the first period.

After ending the second period with a 2-2 tie, the Black Hawks came out in the third period and scored three unanswered goals.

Justin Kloos gave Waterloo the 3-2 lead with a power play goal just 52 seconds into the period.

Then, with 7:34 left in the game, Hinostroza scored his second goal to extend the Black Hawks lead to 4-2.

Kloos sealed the deal when he stole the puck and scored his second goal of the game to give the Black Hawks the 5-2 victory.

The Black Hawks are scheduled to play another exhibition game against the Dynamo hockey Club on Thursday before heading to Omsk for the 2012 Junior Club World Cup which begins on Sunday.
