Columbus Junction teen charged in Washington stabbing

Washington County authorities have arrested a Columbus Junction teen after they say he stabbed another man Monday evening.

Officers were called to the 300 block of East 2nd street in Washington at around 6:15 p.m. Monday for a report of a stabbing.

Once on scene, police arrested 18-year-old Joshua Bergen of Columbus Junction.  He is charged with willful injury and public intoxication.

The victim, who's name has not been released, was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released.

The incident is still under investigation.
