Marshalltown man sentenced to 25 years for arson

A Marshalltown man who pleaded guilty to setting two fires has been given 25 years in prison. 

Andrew Burke, 27, was charged with first and second degree arson for two fires. The first fire was set February 7th. That destroyed a historic downtown building with a grocery store. The second fire was set February 16th, that damaged a garage.

Burke was sentenced Monday to two consecutive 10-year terms for arson and five years for violating probation on a theft conviction.
