Road work begins in Iowa City Monday

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Road work is expected to begin Monday at the intersection of Highway 6 and Sycamore Street in Iowa City.

Our coverage partners at the Iowa City Press-Citizen report this is part of an intersection improvement project.

Because of the construction, there will be lane reductions along Highway 6 between Taylor Drive and 1st Avenue.

The project is expected to be finished by early December.
