Waterloo semi driver injured in I-80 crash

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

A Waterloo man is hurt after a crash along Interstate 80 in Iowa City.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday near the Dubuque St. exit.

The Iowa State Patrol says 58-year-old Michael Markey was headed east in a semi when he sideswiped a guard rail barricade.

His truck then went into a ditch and rolled on to its side.

Markey was taken to an Iowa City hospital.

His condition has not been released.
