Select Sam's Club stores to host free health screenings

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Select Sam's Club stores will offer free health screenings for children on Saturday morning.

Sam's Club stores in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque and Davenport plan to offer the screenings.

These free screenings are being offered to both members and non-members of Sam's Club. and will be Saturday morning from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The screenings include DNA and fingerprint kits, body mass index (BMI) and blood pressure tests, and vision screenings.

Kids that participate will also get a copy of Sesame Street's "Healthy Teeth, Healthy Me" outreach kit about oral health.

The next free health screening at Sam's Club will focus on diabetes management and will be held September 8.
