Cyclones' Lenz Looks to be go to guy

Posted:

Former Dubuque Hempstead star Josh Lenz has had flashes of brilliance during his career as a receiver for the Iowa State football program.

Lenz making the game winning touchdown reception in helping the Cyclones beat UNI last year at Jack Trice stadium.

Or who could forget the big touchdown grab Lenz made two years ago to upset Texas on the road.

And while injuries have slowed him down a bit--Josh Lenz is hoping to have a big senior season---both he and coach Paul Rhoads expect him to be the go to wide receiver.

Josh Lenz was also named to the Paul Hornung watch list--the award is given to the most versatile player in college football.
