Cedar Valley radio host says good-bye to the airwaves

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A long time radio host is saying good-bye to the Cedar Valley airwaves. Cory Ford has been a radio host at KCRR in Waterloo since 2001. Ford says he has loved his time working in the Cedar Valley. He says he is lucky to have been employed at the station for so long. Wednesday is his last show and Ford says it's hard to say good-bye.

"It's been a really good run. I'm going to miss a lot of people that I worked with especially the listeners, co-workers and all of the non-profits I was able to be a part of. It's going to be a rough day today trying to leave the station. I'm excited for my new opportunity," said Ford.

Ford will be living in the Cedar Valley. He has accepted a new job and he will announce that position Tuesday.
