Linn County authorities search corn field

Linn County authorities were searching a field near Highway 13 and the Highway 30 junction last night near Cedar Rapids.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office has not said who or what they're looking for, however they did tell KWWL it was not a very thorough search.

They also say this search is not related to the search for missing Evansdale girls Elizabeth Collins or Lyric Cook.
