Memorial planned for fallen soldier in Cascade

CASCADE (KWWL) -

A memorial service has been set in the hometown of a soldier who died in Afghanistan.

A service for Sgt. Michael Ristau will be held in Cascade at the American Legion Park in Cascade on Saturday at 11am.

The 25-year-old died on July 13 when the vehicle he was riding in hit an IED.

Ristau was on his second deployment.

He leaves behind a wife and two sons.
