Clean up at Iowa City landfill starts

Clean-up work at the Iowa City landfill will begin Tuesday.

This cleanup follows the fire that burned for more than two weeks earlier this summer.
The fire that started the last week of May, and parts are still smoldering.

The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports that crews will start uncovering and disposing of ash and debris.

This work is expected to take about two months.
