I joined KWWL as the reporter in the Cedar Rapids newsroom in July 2012. I came to Iowa from the Chicago suburbs where I spent almost my entire life. I grew up in Bolingbrook and went to North Central College in Naperville where I graduated with degrees in Broadcast Communication and Organizational Communication.
I last worked for Naperville Community Television. I was hired after interning for the station for two years. While in college I also completed three other internships: CNBC in London, WGN-TV in Chicago, and Fox Chicago.
On a more personal note, I love traveling and seeing new places. I'm also a huge fan of coffee. So if you have a story idea or know of a good coffee shop you think I should check out, let me know!
