DES MOINES (KWWL) -
Dyersville Beckman got 4 runs in a decisive 6th inning as they took down Kuemper Catholic 6-3 to advance to the class 2A state final.
Senior Nate Steger struck the big blow in the inning. With the bases loaded, Steger drove a ball deep off the centerfield wall scoring all 3, giving the Blazers a 4 run advantage at the time.
The Blazers will face North Polk in Saturday's final. Beckman will be going after their first state baseball title since the 2000 season.
