Fire displaces family in Center Point

CENTER POINT (KWWL) -

One family is without a home Thursday morning after a fire in Center Point. 

It happened just before 7 p.m. Wednesday night. Crews were called out to a house in the 400 block of Maiden Street.  Crews report they found smoke coming out of the house, and there was extensive fire, smoke and water damage done to the house. 

Everyone made it out of the house safely.

Officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
