University of Iowa plans to close clinic in Wapello

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

The University of Iowa plans to close its clinic in Wapello and sell three of its other off-site UI community medical clinics this summer.

UI Health Care says the Wapello location will close September 1st due to financial reasons.

The UI will also transfer ownership and management of some offices in Ottawa to the Ottawa Regional Health Center.
