WATERLOO (KWWL) -
A Waterloo teen has been charged after gun shots were reported early Sunday morning.
Crews were called to the 300 block of Adams Street for a report of gun shots.
After arriving in the area, police say several people and vehicles left the scene. Police chased after one person, arrested him and found a sawed off, double barrel shotgun.
Police arrested 16-year-old Dennis Cook and charged him with unauthorized possession of an offensive weapon and interference.
Police also recovered a .25 caliber handgun. They say the case remains under investigation.
