2 people are injured after a house fire in Cedar Rapids Sunday afternoon.
Fire crews say 57-year-old Michael Marsh and his wife, Annette, were injured after their home on A Ave. NW caught fire around 2 p.m.
Authorities say Michael Marsh noticed the fire and tried to put it out with a garden hose.
When crews arrived, they found Annette Marsh on a second-floor porch.
She was brought to safety while crews put out the blaze.
The marshes were both taken to a local hospital with smoke inhalation.
It's not clear how the fire started.
