One person safe after River Rescue in Evansdale

One person is safe after an overnight river rescue in Evansdale. 

It happened after midnight. Crews were called out to the 500 block of River Forrest Road in Evansdale. 

The Evansdale Fire Department says this rescue is in no way related to the searching currently underway for the missing girls Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook. 

Authorities have not released details on how the person got into the river or any details on the person, but say he or she is ok.
