Cedar Rapids police investigate morning shooting

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids police are investigating an early morning shooting. Crews were called to an apartment in the 5200 block of Johnson Avenue SW around 6:30 Thursday morning.

Police say a 29-year-old man was shot but is expected to survive.

No other details are being released.
