Car crash kills man in Dubuque County

DUBUQUE COUNTY (KWWL) -

A man has died after a car accident in Dubuque County.

Emergency crews were called to Highway 20 across from Burds Mobile Homes around 5:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office says the man was heading west in the left lane and turned into the right hand lane. He was hit by a semi, also traveling west.

The driver died at the hospital. Officials say he was 58 years old, but have not released a name.

The semi is owned by Namasco and was driven by Christopher Hendricks of Dubuque. He was not hurt.
