DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

Dubuque officials responded to a major house fire Tuesday evening in the 2500 block of Windsor Avenue.

The call came in just before 6 p.m.

Nobody was injured in the fire, but the hot weather sparked precautionary measures for the firefighters. An ambulance arrived on the scene in case of heat exhaustion.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
