A Fredericksburg man accused of arson will spend 15 years in prison.

23-year-old Brandon Deetz was sentenced Wednesday in a Chickasaw County District Court. Deetz is accused of starting two different fires last June in Fredericksburg.

Deetz was accused of setting the Superior Lumberyard in Fredericksburg on fire as well as a vehicle parked nearby.

He was also accused of stealing a vehicle from a rural Chickasaw county home the morning after the fires were set.

In a plea deal, Deetz pleaded guilty to several lesser offenses.
