CHICAGO (KWWL) -
A former employee of Peregrine Financial Group has filed a lawsuit against the company, claiming employees were fired without proper notice.
In the lawsuit, Ronald Kotulak claimed to work at PFG's Chicago office until he was let go on July 9. Kotulak is asking for a class action lawsuit on behalf of himself and all other PFG employees. Under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, the lawsuit claims the employees should have received 60 days written notice of termination and is seeking to claim wages and benefits that would have been paid during that period.
The lawsuit was filed in the Northern District Court of Illinois on behalf of employees that worked in the Chicago and Cedar Falls locations.
