U.S. Department of Agriculture to update monthly crop report Wednesday

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KWWL) -

The U.S. agriculture department will update its monthly crop production and yield estimates on Wednesday.

Officials are not expecting positive news. Corn and soybeans are expected to be in their worst shape since 1988.

Experts believe this means consumers will likely end up paying more for cereal, sweeteners, and animal feed.
