UPDATED: One person airlifted after semi rollover near Waverly

WAVERLY (KWWL) -

One person was airlifted after an accident on Highway 218 South of Waverly Tuesday.

Emergency Crews responded to a semi roll over around 3:40 p.m.

Traffic was temporarily closed to one lane as crews worked for nearly two hours to extricate the driver trapped inside.

The driver was identified as Matthew Hiltabidle age 33 from Stratford, Iowa.

The accident remains under investigation by the Bremer County Sheriff's Office,
